Storyline:
Dystopian future, the totalitarian nation Panem is divided into 12 districts and the Capitol. Every two years the young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal retribution past riot, games, television broadcast throughout Panem. 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors, and citizens of Panem to see. If Katnisss 16-year-old younger sister, Prim, elected representative of District 12s woman, Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and her male counterpart considered, facing bigger, stronger representatives, some of this training is life long.
